Boston Snowblogging

BeaconstIt started snowing right around 4pm in Boston's Back Bay, just as the forecasters predicted.  As if their accuracy wasn't surprise enough, here's another: most people seem to have heeded the City's call to move their cars off the snow-emergency arteries.  Beacon street is as empty as I've seen it since the April (?) 2003 anti-war march.

We put our car in a public parking garage to get it off the street.  We have an off-street spot, but I don't feel like spending tomorrow shoveling out the car.  Once the kids are in bed, I think I'll venture out for some more photography of Blizzard 2005.

J'habite sur la rue de Beacon aussi! And yes, it is deserted. Thank god. Made for fewer obstacles when I broke out my Olympic curling gear. Our plows de neige sont useless.
