I expected more from Massachusetts Democrats; the only two Representatives from our Commonwealth to oppose the (asinine) Broadcast Decency Enforcement Act were Barney Frank and William Delahunt. Look at the votes here.
My own Congressman, for whom I will not vote again, Michael Capuano, voted in favor of the bill. Here are the other Massachusetts members who have never given serious thought to the First Amendment:
Those were all "Yea" votes in favor of massive fines for people who say "indecent" things on the public airwaves. Vote them out when you can. Next election, I plan to hand out matchbooks reading, "Vote for Capuano if you support book-burning."
