It's hard to choose sides in the dispute between Suffolk County Sheriff Andrea Cabral and the 37 Deputies whose badges she took away. On one hand, Cabral is a two-faced, manipulative, probable criminal. On the other hand, the deputies are total hacks, feeding like sows at the public trough on totally unnecessary details.
You know how I feel about details. You know how I feel about Cabral.
What's a local pundit to do?

I think that there was no one to vote for, for sheriff on the last race. It is too bad the Republican's didn't think of throwing someone into the race. Anyone. Anyone at all. Given what the Democrats were offering they would have had a chance. And it would have been payback for the fact that andrea jumped parties.

I'd have to become a Republican. But it's not like switching, because I'm unenrolled now.
