On Universal Hub, there's an event promo for this forum tomorrow night: Has Bush Conspired to Lie to Congress and the American People about the Basis for the Iraq War? Well, that's an interesting question, but you won't hear much debate from the speakers, who all certainly agree on the (positive) answer to the question.
And I'm a bit dismayed that Congressman Frank is appearing at a forum sponsored by an anti-Israel group, Brookline Peaceworks, which itself promotes the work of such noted Israel-haters and anti-Semites as Edward Said and Paul Findley.
Anyway, if you go, don't expect any real debate. It'll be a lot of Bush-bashing and anti-America propaganda. But maybe they'll hand you some pamphlets about the Jewish lobby. If you're really lucky, you could get a little palestinian flag on a stick.
Or you could go heckle.
This looks like a job for the Protest Warriors!
