Ford Seeks To Emulate G.M.
Not content with the spotlight on General Motors as the nation's least-likely-to-survive automaker, Ford announced plans to give away its only model that's selling well. Want a hybrid? Don't bother paying for one; Ford is giving them away.
Yeah, that makes sense. Econ 101: cut prices on your top seller.

Um, Ford's "top seller" is the F150. Their best selling car is probably the Mustang (not sure).
Except for the Toyota Prius, which has beoome a greenie fashion statement, hybrids are not exactly in short supply. Ask Honda.
