Further Proof the Archdiocese of Boston Hates Children
Well, they made their choice: either obey state law or get out of the adoption business; Catholic Charities decided to get out. Which just serves as further proof that the Catholic Church doesn't give a damn about children. As if we needed further proof. What was that I said about assholes the other day?

I'm right there with you man.

Religions in general, are not out to "help" people...they are out there to make believers. Missionaries, for example, are not in African to feed/educate poor people. They are there to use food as means to convert starving people. These so called "Adoption" services are there to project an image for the public to convince people that it cares about children.
Unfortunately in this post-911 period, we're all too hyper sensitive toward religion. It seems like we can no longer criticize it without someone going nuts. It seems a small minority of psychotic extremists have infected the believers of their religions. I think this is a turning point in human history. Either we choose rationality, logic, and human rights or the devolution of civilization.
Either way, looks like war is on its way.

I'm sure Catholic Charities will find ways around the law, just set up operations across the border in a neighboring state.
I had heard, don't know if it's true, but at one point several hundred years ago, the Catholic Church had a Gay Marriage Rite. Does anyone know if that's true?
