Clearly, it doesn't take brains to get rich and famous; the proof is the idiot, trailer-park millionaire. Even if it's not against the law, it's against common sense to strap your baby in the wrong way.
Orin Kerr pointed out this inauspicious start to a legal career - a law student getting jail time for speeding on the George Washington Parkway. I've driven that highway. A lot. I've driven it in a supercharged BMW 325i and a police package Ford Crown Victoria. Repeatedly. I've driven above the speed limit there. It's a beautiful stretch of road that invites a little speed when it's empty. But if you're driving 126 there, you should go to jail. That's beyond speeding. It's utterly irresponsible endangering. And you're a fool, because it's heavily-patrolled and it has speed cameras. Oh, and trying to get away from the Park Police by ducking off the nearest exit might work. If the nearest exit weren't the way to the George H.W. Bush CIA Headquarters. It is to laugh. (Unless you're the law student. Then it's not funny at all. But I bet you slow down.)
I found a nice Porsche site on blogspot. I can't recall who pointed me there, but I'm glad they did. Sunday Porsche Blogging is well worth a read.
