Nevermind what Deval told me - Tommy Menino is yelling right over him. I just got my preliminary property tax assessment, which -if it stands- will have me paying 50% more than last year, an amount that neatly matches the amount I had budgeted to garage, maintain and insure a Porsche.
It was fun while it lasted, that car shopping. Just as well. I was thinking about stretching the budget for this one.
I've still got my Bimmers, though. Anyone interested in my 1972 BMW 2002 Automatic? I'm keeping the E36:
