Early Proof of the Upcoming Corruption in Massachusetts

We'll work with you if "you're willing to share...and ready to deliver," otherwise we'll stop you in your tracks, says the State Senate President Robert Travaglini, aka Boss of the Machine, to the newly-elected Hope for Massachusetts, Deval Patrick.  This is why you don't want a Democrat in the corner office.  Because the rest of the statehouse is dominated by the corrupt, entrenched, political hackfest that is the Massachusetts Democratic Party, and there's a danger that they might actually work together, which would result in a daily feast at the graft trough.

He came right out and said it: give us our share (of the money) and we'll give you yours.  Too bad that's a bit shy of the quid pro quo needed for federal bribery charges.  How about extortion?
