An Unhappy Animal

Watching TV news footage of this gorilla, I got the sense he's pretty unhappy.  Running and smashing into the glass repeatedly, he surely wasn't expressing his appreciation of his new home.  The Franklin Park Zoo (which is to zoos what the Geo Metro was to cars) is very proud of its new facility.  The local media, of course, pimped it out with no critical comment.  (They probably didn't have time for critical comment among all the absurd snow-is-coming! stories.)

I don't really know what my point is, but if Little Joe gets out again and decides to kill every person he meets, I wouldn't blame him.

Did you see the quote in the Globe story from the zoo official who says throwing himself against the window repeatedly only shows how happy he really is?
