From NYT I learn (rr) that at least one Senator expects Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to resign before he winds up on the losing end of a (no) confidence vote in the Senate.
The resignation is long overdue.

Apparently the Democrats in Congress did accomplish something in thier first 100 days. We now have a Parliamentary System of Goverment. Long Live the Queen!

Right. Except instead of a Queen we have a King: King George - a president who is totally unresponsive to any criticism, whether it comes from abroad, from the other party, from his party, or from the people. And the rule of law doesn't touch him. And he punishes people for challenging him. And he tortures people in special prisons. I could go on, but I won't.
I'm not enamored of this Congress, but you probably shouldn't be making tyrant analogies if you're trying to defend the Bush Administration.
