Brad Whitford -this one not this one- is a guitarist for Aerosmith, and lives in Marshfield Hills, about 30 minutes south of Boston. I used to live near in the area, on a road he often used, and wondered who the long-haired speed freak was in the Acura NSX (this was in the mid-90's, when the NSX was cool). Sometimes I'd see him in his purple BMW M3 (E36; 1995 or so) as he wound it through the gears on the long straight past my house. I would occasionally run past his house in the Hills, wondering if it had a nice view and why they thought they needed an electric gate.
I know why he needs a gate now, and I know it's for sale. Offered now at about $4 million, it's perfect for a car fanatic. Garage parking for 12 or so. Oh, and there's a house too. Read the blurb in the Boston Globe.
