Sometimes, animals win. Of course, they shot the cat.
"Police and zoo officials were investigating what led a 140-pound jaguar to maul a zookeeper to death in the doorway of its exhibit."
Um, it wanted to get out?

"One big-cat expert said jaguars are naturally mean and erratic."
Noooo. Jaguars, like all cats, are territorial and opportunistic and when cornered, with no place to hide or escape to, or when their territory is invaded by another animal ( say a 130 lb zookeeper for example) of approximately the same size and weight, will likely attack. Only Jaguars with Lucas electronics are erratic and mean.
