After a winter-long absence, I'm resurrecting Beater of the Week. (That particular word choice always takes me back to a game I played as boy - like I'm a 10th level cleric or something.) Anyway, this offering is from Boston, an early 90's Acura Legend. Too new to be a beater? I don't think so. Note the unrepaired hood, the rusted wheels and fenders, the paint condition and the more-or-less permanent dirt. Anything can be a beater. The keys are condition and frequency of use.
Make The Thugs Show Their Faces
Why are accused murderers allowed to hide their faces in court? What judge allows this? I've always wondered. Is there some principle of privacy law I've missed all these years, or are most of the jurists just too jaded to give a damn?
If I were a judge, you'd damn well show your face in my court.
